We eat good.

Summer is the time for al fresco dining.

Its a philosophy we strictly adhere to at our house. Here is a sampling of some of the wonderful moments we've had around dinner time. We tend to eat dinner after our son goes to bed and enjoy some adult time together.

Here's an excellent Chardonnay I brought back from Ronda, Spain. You can't even get this wine in the US.

And, here's some really delicious turkey with green beans and baked potato. We ate this with the red wine I brought back from Spain. A Rioja if I remember correctly...

I love Eggs Benedict and my husband knows it. He made me fancy "Oscar Benedict" eggs for dinner with roasted asparagus. They have honey ham, poached egg, crab meat, and a special sauce.

I couldn't help throwing in a picture of our favorite olive oil. We bought it on our honeymoon in Paris. The original oil is gone now, but we still use the bottle and stopper. The oil claims to be Italian, but its probably actually from Spain....

And another mouth-watering dinner. This ones haddock with Ritz cracker (yummy!!), oven roasted carrots, and brussel sprouts and beans. The little tomato garnishes are fresh from the garden too!

Where the magic happens, our back porch:

Bon Appetit!

Kick Ass Dumplings

Jason made some really experimental soup dumplings with chicken stock and a pork mixture stuffing. They were out of this world. Kudos, baby!
